Let’s not start the Spike age debate here. I meant that he already has a job and is relatively well adjusted into pony society. That plus living with Twilight in a pibrary all those years has likely left him well past anything school has to offer intellectually.

If school ends for ponies really early, like elementary level (is that why the Crusaders weren’t in Cheerilee’s class this season?) then yes. If not, he’s still just a kid and should really be in school, especially if he’s going to be useful to Twilight in anything more than a janitorial position. We know that they have schooling through our college level, though. Huh…
