I’ve heard that the little rural Tennessee town that is closest to spot where, I assume, totality will be at maximum has been overrun with weirdos of all sorts. They have a tent city several thousand strong; crime rates have shot through the roof; and there isn’t any available toilet paper for 100 miles in any direction*.
