Better late than never. I was really disappointed by the fact that it was never brought up again after “Castle Mane-ia”.

Note that the cover of LOM #7 is cover A, not the primary cover.
Now, LOM #7 could easily be about the Sirens, as we know the tie-in with the comics to the show is already established with Campfire Tales. The show finale likely might touch on the Shadow Lock story, though.
We’ll know for certain when the previews drop.
Still the Legends of Magic line has had their covers show who the issue will be about so far.

I agree, in addition that that would be bringing in an EQG element into the show, which seems to be a no-no.
Between talk of the Pony of Shadows and this title, i feel that cover might be another ruse cruise.
