Yes, at the end of Flashpoint they made a rebooted that merged the main DCu with the Wildstorm and Vertigo universe.
If you mean Rebirth, that was them bringing back some of the characters that had been removed like Wally West/Kid Flash, being the pre-Flashpoint version who was pulled out of the timeline or somthing but now back.
So Dr. Manhattan is the in universe reason for the reboot turning out as it did.

Here is the kicker, Dr. Manhattan somehow was the one manipulating things when Flash undid the changes to the timeline in Flashpoint, to make the new main universe.
This was done over five(almost six) years after the fact…
It’s one of the Rebirth story lines.

Pretty bizarre way to place a universe in DC like that.
But it is still part of the DC multiverse.
The Comedian’s badge, the smiley button of Watchmen, recently showed up as a major part of a story that has to do with somthing back at the end of Flashpoint.
Also not in any alternate earth versions. As no mention of supes, bats, ww, gl or even flashy gets brought up. Only Dr. Manhattan is that worlds superhero.

Was thinking Nite Owl from Watchman. He looks almost similar to DC’s.
Other then the cryptid I thought the DC one was the only Owlman.
