It’s meant to make the face more show-accurate depending on the position of the camera relative to the face. The 2D faces from the show also looks like their noses are slanted when their head is around a 45 degree angle relative from the camera, at least it does to me. Hence why I implemented this. It might pop out to jarring to some people, including you, but I think overall it improves the overall appeal of the head shape of this model.

That’s some clever shit. Reminds me of the special rigging they do for Mickey to make sure his ears always rotate around to their iconic pattern, no matter how he faces or turns.

Well most of the time would be put into creating all the 3D assets needed to create a full length episode, as well as an original story, script, animatics, etc. Obviously I’m only one person, so I that’s not really a possibility unless we can get a good amount of talented people in the community to help out.
 
I can’t really say how long it would take. There are a lot of things that can vary how long the process can take. I’d say the likelihood of gathering a good amount of talented people to make this happen is very unlikely, though. But I am tackling on recreating “The Magic Inside” scene from The Mane Attraction on my own. Probably won’t be done before the end of the year.
