Is Sunset like… legally cool to live on her own and pay bills and stuff? I think she’s a legal adult in the Pony world, but here, she’s still in high school. How does this work?

Also, holy crap, are Sci-Twi’s parents loaded or what? I mean, Private Prep school, and a massive Victorian house.
 
Rarity lives in a pretty simple house, considering her flair. Goes with her more low-key parents though.

Upper question mark is probably a mall, because every High School AU has to have a mall.
 
Second one I’ve seen guessed as a cemetery, which makes sense given its location at the edge of town, but it doesn’t really look like one. Looks more like storage containers to me.

The building on the hill looks like the Griffith Observatory, so basically they’re in an inland version of Los Angeles. At least that’s what it looks like to me.
