Not really sure what you’re talking about when it comes to all of that. The only other player I’m kind of familiar with is an old QB for the Dolphins, Dan Marino, and that’s only because my uncle was a big fan of his back in the day.
Outside of that, my knowledge on American football is mostly relegated to whatever I’ve skimmed while playing Madden on PS2 with my friends. We’re also usually drunk as shit while doing that xD .
Edited because: more words
It’s okay, eli is so buried in Pey-Pey’s shadow that sometimes you have to tilt the screen back and squint just to see him. also im pretty sure eli is the one who nearly starts crying every time a play goes awry, but i could be mistaken
Ah, yep, that’s the other.
I know it sounds weird to forget the name of someone so famous, but I really am out of the loop when it comes to sports most of the time.
His brother Eli Manning.
Pretty much, yeah. Another year will pass, some team my buddy’s hate will end up in the ‘bowl, and I’ll have more ammo.

I know one of ‘em is Peyton, right? Who’s the other?
Honestly you can do that to anybody that really cares about sports. my father gets triggered as hell whenever someone compliments either of the Mannings
And then we go on and stop caring about sports until the next Superbowl when the Patriots beat another team.
It meant I could screw with them nonstop, which is something I’m always happy to do. For example:
Me: “Hey, Scott?”
Scott: [Sighs] “What?”
Me: “Do you think Tom Brady’s back hurts?”
Scott: “Shut up.”
Me: “After all, that must have really tired him out, CARRYING HIS TEAM TO VICTORY AND WINNING THE WHATEVER BOWL!”
Scott: …
Me: “THE ONLY THING THAT ISN’T DEFLATED RIGHT NOW IS TOM BRADY’S EGO! WITH CANNONS FOR ARMS AND LEGS LIKE COILED STEEL, HE’S THE MAN OF THE HOUR ATOP THE TOWER OF POWER!”
Scott: [Sighs again] “I hate you.”
Me: “I know.”
Sports. It’s serious business.
That is completely optional for each player as Devin McCourty and Martellus Bennett said they are not going because they do not agree with what Donald Trump stands for.

Seems alot of you Patriot haters wouldn’t shut up all year. Sorry, but they are going to rub your faces in it until the next season starts.

im sure the injuries didn’t help, but i wouldn’t say that that was the only, or even the biggest, factor. i will agree though, it was odd seeing the falcons go from 60 to 0 like that
Yeah, but it’s hard to stay calm sometimes. Like I said, I was depressed and angry when Clemson and Carolina lost in 2016. I was excited when Clemson won this year, but I didn’t feel the need to belittle Alabama fans over it.
Here’s a thought, though. During the fourth quarter, some Falcon players got injured in a pretty short succession. I wonder if that had an impact on their performance as it just seemed like they couldn’t do anything in the fourth quarter. It’s almost suspicious what happened.
That’s fair, I’m not trying to d*ckride the NEP, lord knows they aren’t exactly gods among men. I’m just saying if they lost my reaction wouldn’t be to try to undermine the Falcons’ victory
Some people don’t know how to take a win with dignity either. (Not directed at you, just talking about “sore winners.”)
Trump or no Trump, it’s still the White House. That place is swank!
