I think it’s a mix of not caring anymore, a bit of a delusional mindset, and still greedily wanting money. So all he does anymore is beg for money, take commissions he never even starts, spews long lists of why he isn’t doing commissions/needs money/etc., and then churns out these abominations while thinking he’s still one of the best at it. But then he blocks out everyone from years ago that asked for or payed for commissions and then gets mad because they want a refund. There is a pretty massive thing about it on DeviantArt about how he is just scamming and begging for money now.
