That’s been my assumption.

Sun Goddesses are usually tied to fertility. Gods that resided over fertility usually had curvaceous forms.
Or it’s because she’s the MILF of ponykind, since she’s their mother figure, and people like giving her a sexy figure.
Maybe it has to do with people often portraying her as a cake lover.
Its interesting that the culture here has almost entirely portrayed Celestia as a curvaceous, buxom woman with fairly large breasts and Luna as the opposite.
Not trying to be rude or anything. I’ve been with MLP since 2010, but I’ve never really understood why Celestia is portrayed that way in her humanized art. Anyone have any ideas?
