If Sombra wasn’t dead, it would be a nightmare of Starlight turning into him, instead. But Chrysalis will have to do for now.
That was one of my thoughts on what may or may not occur next season: Starlight watching herself control or destroy Equestria, and in some way, her evil self changes (hurr) into Chrys, a reflection (double hurr) of who she could have become. She could have these kinds of nightmares for days or weeks before the scene transitions into some other stuff in the first or second act. :j
