Overall, the show’s been doing a great job portraying ambition and wealth as morally neutral on their own; what matters is how you treat other ponies, and what you do with your success and wealth. (See also: Fancypants, who’s clearly the epitome of a successful Canterlot unicorn, and who’s also consistently portrayed as a good, decent pony.)
