I wish there had been some way to implement unique-looking (like in FNV) but still customizable unique weapons in the game (actually scratch that, Atom’s Judgement for example looked unique but could still be upgraded with the heat/stun pack so it surely must be possible!)
Hell, even if the uniques still had generic legendary effects, them looking different would’ve still felt really nice.
Then again I guess one could argue that a weapon one has had on long adventures and eventually affectionately renamed is one’s own unique weapon. Reminds me of a /foe/ thread talking about unique weapons in fics.
