There are instances of it working yes but there are also instances of it not working, again I don’t really care anymore as I stated previously so no need to get your panties in a bunch.

Well it seems like EQG is being downgraded more and more as time goes on so it seems more likely be the one cancelled, also I think the movie might have had something to do with the “stagnation” of the series, although I still personally think it’s quality is mostly fine.
The idea of FIM ending fills me with existential dread. I hope it doesn’t happen for a long time.
However, If the new show is set in the same universe that wouldn’t be so bad.
Usually when a single team has to put a lot of effort into two projects one of the projects suffers or they both kind of stagnate and become basic, that usually leads to the cancelation of one of them so the other can be focused on more and because EQG would be the newest one and FiM would be old news it would likely get replaced. Personally I think it’s time for FiM to end and let something new take the reigns.

but EqG was never meant to replace anything, we shouldn’t complain about it, it gave Hasbro money and as long as they get money our show can go on
I was saying I don’t want to see it replace FIM, if they make series good for them I just didn’t want it to be a replacement. I don’t actually care now though as you know it can replace it and I would be fine with it.
Screw off, I would kill for a proper serialized EQG TV series.

Indeed, For a matter of fact it is canon. (Note that I personally don’t like the my little human part of the franchise but Twilight experiences there are real to the FiM story and I’m okay with that.)
