Yep like I mentioned it’s how you can get the nuka nuke launcher and ammo schematics or you can get the nuka jumpsuit. Or if you’re devious you can get both by lying to her. I was surprised to see her in this game but I wouldn’t say I loved it as one of the things I didn’t like about fallout 4 (I love fallout 4 but it has issues) is that they reused a lot of things from 3 to the point it kinda feels like a reskin sometimes. We had McCready and now Sierra though I do still like them in 4.
I kind of liked the mystery mansion thing you can find outside of nuka world though it was kind of predictable, the hubologists were kind of interesting took me awhile to realize you were only supposed to put three fusion cores in the space ship ride not 4.
I really liked their homage to Evan in the DLC he’s the nice guy you meet in the trailer outside of nuka world, if you don’t know who Evan was I recommend watching this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYOAzqi5EWQ
Did you ever do the miniquest with Sierra Petrovita from Fallout 3 Where you Find all those damn cappys and go into Bradburton’s office? I found it quite interesting apart from all of the bloody fetchquest stuff.
I have it on PC and I played twice with no problems besides some stuttering at first but then my game went to shit and Nuka world is the only thing that could have done it, the unofficial fallout 4 patch mod might fix the issue if beth doesn’t patch it themselves.
@Senile Old Pony
I played the entire DLC to it’s entirety and I also liked that dark souls reference free stimpaks, I played nuka world all the way through even got a mod that let you skip the settlement stuff but after beating that way twice I realized the raiders don’t help you do anything and all they do is complain and you miss out on nothing besides the perks for killing them so I just kill them and explore the parks on my own.
I made a huge rant about this DLC on another pic but I won’t do it here too but I really only liked the handmade rifle, the cutlass knife, the nuka launcher and two characters (Cito and Oswald) everyone else was bland and there wasn’t a lot to do. Porter Gage had potential as your follower but you lose him if you don’t side with the raiders and he’s a raider that doesn’t like it if you drink booze or do any type of chem he kind of explains why but you can never do it in his presence I mean what kind of raider are you?
Really now? That’s a shame, I felt like I cut out a huge chunk of content by killing them. Probably just lost the lead in quests to the other park areas and that’s it by the sounds of it. Still, I liked the little Dark Souls reference they tossed in.
If you play on either a PC or an Xbone there might be a mod that fixes whatever issue you were having, provided that Beth hasn’t patched it yet, and such a mod exists.
Edited because: A word.
No but I wanted to, once I realized you get nothing special from them besides a gun that has the same effect as the one you can buy and the perks for siding with a certain faction I killed them all, you lose practically nothing they don’t really offer you anything and the settlements you give them turn to shit.
Unfortunately the DLC is bugged for me it broke my game so I had to uninstall it and my game, once my internet speeds up on the 3rd I can reinstall it and hopefully their will be some updates by then that fix the issue.
I didn’t kill them immediately after I had finished the gauntlet. I wanted to see what their getup was. It’s tempting to murder them all, however.
