Discord and Starlight Glimmer ought to have an episode together. They can help each other overcome their underlying psychopathic/sociopathic personality traits. XD

All these comments - It’s not fundamentally bad to want mutually beneficial solutions. When it’s bad is when you miss the point of the exercise, and make everyone lose rather than win :q
 
In the first, everyone “wins” because she eliminated competition and, well, competence (a la’ their muffins - not allowed to be better than anyone else’s baking even though she was a baker). In the latter, she completely missed the point and wanted to mind-alter her friends…

She really is a messed up horse. This is clearly all so alien to her; at a basic level she just does not understand many of the fundamental principals of friendship. Even Discord isn’t having this much trouble, because he at least knows what friendship is, even if all of his prior experience with it was using it to mock others for having any.

Yep, deep down she still has the same mindset, and it’s clashing with Twilight’s lessons.  
But she’s trying.

She still haven’t gotten that manipulative, malicious self completely out of her.
