I don’t see how having a human face deters something from not being anthro. I mean from the description it states “A character with semi-human but not fully human anatomy” which seems to fit here because this character doesn’t have full human anatomy and the only thing separating it from your “normal” anthro is that it isn’t drawn with a nose like Moe from the Simpsons. Ponied up would refer to a transformation, me thinks, not how the artist depicts the characters which I believe Shepard has before EqG was even a thing.
At least it isn’t one of those creepy pony-faces-on-humann-body things form SFM.
But i thought satyr had human ears
Also isnt the lower body supposed to be animal and the top human?
I feel satyr is a bit off the mark for human faced anthro
which are tagged satyr, not anthro
Isn’t there a “human faced anthro” tag or something?
Because quite a lot of artists seem to use human faces for anthro and somehow get away with anthro

its not humanization because the rest of shepherd0821’s works depict them having hooves, its just this particular image doesn’t show the hooves
dude, I’ve tried making this argument before on shepard’s images. but it’s never ended well.
