Unless you have irrefutable proof of the MLP comics being confirmed as canon to the show by, say, any reliable source then everything you’ve said is entirely centered on your own opinion. This may come as a surprise to you, but everything I said remains true regardless of the accuracy or lack thereof of my original reference. You are the ones making a pointless argument out of this.
No seriously, you brought up the origin comic, said it was canon until the show contradicted it, defended Celestia blowing the changeling full of holes, and then admitted it was OoC for Celestia and the comic was dumb, contradicted the show, and isn’t canon.
What the hell did you have this argument for?

You were talking about one specific comic that is agreeably shit and opposes the Canon of an episode that precedes its existence as though it invalidated the comics as a whole, as though it was an argument against my point that the comics are canon unless the show says otherwise, as in the aforementioned case. Yeah, I just reread that. That one is stupid. Loads of incompetence all around. Also doesn’t fit with the show’s canon, because I’m 90% sure that Celestia didn’t have a grasp of Changelings as a concept in A Canterlot Wedding. Ergo, not canon. See? That wasn’t so hard.
Chrysalis’s Fiendship “Origin” comic.
Ok you guys have been going on about this whole ‘mutilation’ thing a lot. Which comic did that occur in? Because it’s not ringing a bell, and intentional lasting harm is grossly out of character for Celestia.
You know taking the comics as canon for this means Chrysalis was justified in her invasion on canterlot, she needs love to feed her subjects yet no one will help or accept them and by invading the capital she’d be getting revenge against Celestia who mutilated her and her subjects, it’s like a tragic rise to power.
Chrysalis is ruthless and is willing to do what it takes to survive even if it means stepping on those who get in her way but if the comics are to be believed it’s because she believes they will never be accepted and after having her entire race mutilated by the leader of those who won’t help them she has every reason to not trust them.
Right again! She’d probably fuck that up too. Better get the Mane 6 on it.
