So I thought to myself: a good way to practice drawing a pony is to draw her sequentially like twelve times. I’m probably not going to do a lot of classically animated gifs like this. The sketches and lines were reasonable enough, but when it gets to the lighting in the hair, which naturally bounces and moves more than everything else, there’s a lot of time going into touching up however many frames. Sadly Fluttershy’s head grew in size between the first and final frames. Poor form, poor form, but I think this is my first fully rendered classical animation.
And the writing - it’s just … ohcelestia SO GOOD
Well his newer Mentally Advanced episodes are proof he can animate them, that’s for sure.
If you haven’t seen the most recent Rainbow Dash Presents - he’s taken it up to a whole new level.
I can’t even imagine what kind of work will be coming out of that team of amazingly creative people in 10 years from now.
The future’s so bright I gotta wear shades.
If this is his current quality, I think he could host Rainbow Dash Presents like he wanted to.
Almost overnight. It’s completely impressive and demoralizing at the same time.
He is becoming an EPIC artist.
