Background Human is juxtaposing the cancellation of Fighting is Magic with PonyKart.
The joke being (even though PonyKart wasn’t C&D’d by Hasbro whereas Fighting is Magic Was) that the reason PonyKart was C&D’d was because they had an episode lined up based around Ponies go-carting. As such, using that logic, Background Human is alluding that there’s going to be a future episode based around the Mane 6 going Mortal Kombat and THAT is why Fighting is Magic was cancelled.
I’m not saying I don’t know, or that I’m “challanged”. I was just inviting you to explain things in your own way, and you did.

You just explained the joke surrounding PonyKart, but you couldn’t equate the joke this post has made to Fighting is Magic? XP
The joke is that because of this episode, Hasbro wouldn’t allow PonyKart to exist. The reality is that the PonyKart team stopped working on the game on their own accord.
