I don’t hate you are have anything against you Maggie. I am just honestly worried about kids on the internet in general. It’s a wide open place with all kinds of content and people on it.
 
I don’t want to say anything that would seem negative against the community here but in ANY community there can be predators or dangerous people and so I hope that you will at least have the presence of mind to report to the mods any kind of personal approaches or PMs or anything that might happen to you. (Not just here but anywhere in the netspace)

If your age is accurate to what you posted in that one thread then you are technically on “a site for adults” and while you can filter content to have a relatively safe environment you are bound to come across things here (and on the internet at large) that aren’t child friendly.
 
If you consider yourself mature enough to handle the nature of the internet at large then you’re just going to have to buck up and deal with comments you might personally find “sick” or “gross” or “crass.”
 
I didn’t grow up with the internet in my formative years so I won’t pretend to know the extend of the difficulty of trying to connect to sites regarding fan content you might enjoy coupled with comments or ideas you might not. None-the-less if your parents are not closely monitoring your web browsing habits and you feel inclined to participate in communities where most (if not almost all) of the users are older than you then you are going to inevitably run across things that you find disturbing, annoying, or questionable. I hope you are mature enough to put these things in context for yourself but if you are not then you should do what is necessary to shield your web-browsing experience in such a way as to not feel offended in any way.
 
The internet can be a dangerous place (and not just because of posts that might contain things you don’t like) but because there are predators, hackers, and all kinds of people out there that do not have your best interests at heart.
 
My only advice would be to exercise extreme caution everywhere you go.
