It is implied through the series that Rainbow Dash might be kind of loose…
Loose? So far it seems like she ever been with Soarin’. The last comic with the two is the only time where she expresses interest in another pony. That pony being Spitfire’s butt. The line barely makes for concrete evidence that the two are swinging with the captain.
You are right. There is not much evidence otherwise. Even the earliest comic she mentions a “wild night” with Soarin’.

Maybe I haven’t read every single installment, but watching the characters fail at life & love (in comical ways) seems to be the theme of the series.
