Dude, I don’t care if you don’t watch the show anymore, and I don’t get why you think I do…  
All I said to you about that last time you brought that up, was it was just a bit odd to keep hanging out here if watching the show has become some huge horrible ordeal for you, and you don’t like Ponies anymore. (Unless you have friends here, or just like the art.)  
I didn’t hold a gun to your head, and was trying to force you to watch it.

Plus, since I stopped watching MLP a couple years ago, Derpy’s the least of my worries. You want me to watch it again? Give me $200 a month to pay for a DVR. Then watch WITH me so I don’t get distracted and make a beeline to my computer to go surf for four hours after the theme song.

Don’t know what brought that up, but I like ‘em. lol in fact so does Scootaloo’s VA Madalyn Peters ironically. (Would you rather people call her a “dodo?”) :P
 
For that matter, I actually liked the Fluttertree, Gak, and Lyra likes humans/hands/pants gags too, despite the crap they get from hipster fans. I’m honestly not bothered by most of the “popular” fandom memes/jokes except maybe a few of the more grosser ones. Like “I want to come inside…” I don’t even wanna say it… lol

I don’t know if they confirmed that, or not, but that was a headcanon Lauren Faust herself considered for the show. It’s up to the show’s current staff if they wish to go with that, or go in a different direction. Hasbro might find a disabled character “too depressing,” but then again they finally allowed them to reveal that the Apple siblings’ parents are indeed dead.
