Well, onion confit is a specific dish, and it is possible to juice corn. So you could, in theory, make this dish, but I’m pretty sure it would be rather sweet, and I don’t know that the two parts would go together well.
I think that this food is an reinvention of the buffallo food from ‘Over a Barrel’ because it looks bluish and the corn that most native americans eat

That’s corn chowder. I suppose that could be what they’re talking about, but it didn’t look like chowder to me.
Then, you’ll need to grind it, boilt it into a soup, strain it and put it back into the pot until it has become a thick broth
