I’m still struggling between Sunset and Applejack for number 1, with.Rarity holding a close second.
MoonDancer is my 30th favorite character to start things off.
next, Trixie is my 29th favorite character.
after that, Starlight Glimmer is my 28th favorite character.
Twilight Sparkle is my 2nd favorite character, but she is also my favorite mane 6 member.
and of course, Sunset Shimmer is, without a doubt, my number 1 and My All Time Favorite Character Ever in the Entire Series!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
It’s probably just a duck that’s trying to get naive users hyped up for the finale, than laugh their asses off when said users find out that it’s BS.

I think people just enjoy drawing them together because they are all fun and interesting characters. And with Twilight as a focal point, they could theoretically meet some day, which sounds amazing!

Besides, I like it when a show has gals and guys being friends without trying to push the romance angle.
Oh, and Trixie is not dorky. Just look at her chilling with her Itrot (bad pun, not sorry) while those squares “study” for their “final exams”. Trixie is clearly too cool for school.
