What I was saying is that they need to make more quality products in order to get more sales.
I can’t argue with that.
They would make so much more money
I’m 100% certain that they’ve already had marketing/logistics people investigate the idea and decided that they wouldn’t make enough extra money to justify the expenses; the problem is that making actual high quality plushies like these ain’t cheap– even in mass production– and Hasbro is already pullin’ in phat money by licensing el cheapo plushes. If they thought they could make significant extra profit on official products at this quality level, they probably would; the only realistic way to encourage them to re-evaluate the profit potential is to buy the highest quality official plushes (4DE, it’s 4DE) and hope Hasbro pays attention.
I’m just glad they leave fan artist plush makers alone.
Twilight looks a bit awkward from the front
I think it’s the same reason the actual onscreen character models also look weird from the front; when there aren’t any shadows to define the form of a Pony’s muzzle– whether because they don’t use shading on the Flash models or because Minky fabric blends in with itself under indirect lighting– it looks like all their facial features are just sort of floating in the middle of their head. Show-accurate sculptures look the same way when they’re photographed under typical indirect studio light, but don’t look like that under natural or unidirectional light.
@Nightweaver20xx
I bet the employees at the 4DE warehouse have to constantly fight themselves to keep from dumping hundreds of plushies in a shipping container and just rolling around in them.
Though Twilight looks a bit awkward from the front.
