I don’t really see the need to change the overall character designs, they’re great the way they are.
True, but the models on pre-existing characters have stayed the same, though the rigging has obviously improved.
Actually, the characters have gotten more facial expressions and different looking designs.
Everything in the art and animation is getting more detailed except the character designs.
