I think it’s Super

Thousand Year Door was the last true Paper Mario game, as far as I am concerned.
 
Even then, the original N64 title still holds a special place in my heart.

To be fair, Sticker Star was good on its own merits.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t done one of these with Button Mash in front of Satoru Iwata’s grave yet.

Well…actually I think SPM should be platformer RPG
 
But seeing the fan hate it… I just want a remake of it to see the fans happy again
 
I really really really really really love the game, especially the story… but it doesn’t make the fans like the game…

I don’t.  
Part of the reason why I like Super Paper Mario is because it DOESN’T have a traditional RPG style.  
I like it because it’s so different from its predecessors.
 
It’s not Thousand Year Door, and it’s not trying to be. It’s its own thing and making it closer to TTYD would only take away from the game.
 
 
That’s just my opinion, though, so it’s okay if you disagree; that’s just my take on it.
 
 
(Besides, it’s still better than Sticker Star.)

Nope, I’m not, Paper Jam is an Mario and Luigi game, so that won’t count. Also, I don’t want a new Paper Mario game, I just want a remake of Super Paper Mario with a traditional RPG style.

Color Splash doesn’t look too bad to me. Maybe the series will be revived.

I know, but Sticker Star is the murderer, Color Splash just the over-killer, the series is dead at 2012.
