The one reference I know of to a God that handles the transfer of souls during reincarnation is the King of Other World in Dragon Ball Z. Whom is probably a reference to a real East Asian God I know nothing of, lol. Such an individual could better explain Sweetie’s soul rather than Marshmallow getting her soul straight from the ether. Oh, sorry, DBZ was already mentioned. XD

Considering that Sweetie Belle’s dying wish was to see Rarity again, it also wouldn’t be a stretch to consider that such a wish influenced how she was reincarnated… As a member of the same family who looks uncannily like the original Sweetie belle.
Trilby Pony

Honestly, Sweetie Bot the golem reminds me of the Batman the Animated series episode “His Silicon Soul,” with the line at the end of the episode, in particular.

“Could it be it had a soul, Alfred? A soul of silicon, but a soul nonetheless.”

Vavacung is from Tailand (according to his DA page).
Reincarnation is a big part of tradition over there.
