I’d like to see that!
That could work as well.
I’d like to see an episode where Tixie invites Twilight and co to one of her performaces to show them how much she’s changed and bury the hatchet but has to deal with her jealousy and inferiority complex (or is it superiority complex? I can’t tell which one trixie has) when the rest of her audience becomes more interested in princess Twilight then paying attention to her show.

She’s really not on the villain level of “destruction” or “torture” (Magic Duel was fun but it felt off having Trixie being a tyrant). She’s just a naive jerk with style. I would rather see more of a “Amending Fences” type episode rather than a good vs evil episode.
Of course, this is a children’s show so I won’t be surprised if that’s the reason Trixie is considered to be as “villainous” as any major villains everyone compares to.
I hate to say it, but I agree.
Trixie’s not the nicest person/pony, but I can’t see her wanting to risk turning everything into a wasteland just to spite Twi’.
So they can do to her what they did to glimmer? No thanks.
Trixie should remain neutral and morally ambiguous, not become a cackling phycho with a contrived back story attempting to explain her actions and woobifie her.
Antagonist, yes. Outright villain, no.
