The point I was making is that Dogman was correcting an idiom with another (equally correct/incorrect) idiom.

I vote for “all of a sudden”. I don’t give a shit whether it’s grammatically correct or not.
“Why is my heart racing suddenly” would be correct. I don’t even get what sounds off about it. o.O

How about “Why is my heart suddenly racing?”
But “Why is my heart racing suddenly?” doesn’t sound right or make sense.
both are equally incorrect. If you feel like being pedantic about it “suddenly” is the only correct choice.
