And for a show that’s big on friends being affectionate, I found it odd how the CMC didn’t hug Diamond Tiara in CotLM. Even Silver Spoon simply placed an outstretched hoof on her for a second and a half - which was weirder than not touching her at all IMO.
That does make sense in a way. Apple Bloom was the filly that suggested the CMC go and check on her.

Indeed. The thing that makes my day about Diamond Tiara being redeemed is the fact that Apple Bloom was ultimately responsible for helping Diamond Tiara discover who she was meant to be, the same holds true for Troubleshoes Clyde.
Diamond Tiara certainly owes all of the CMC a debt of gratitude. Assuming that Shpoonykins isn’t possessive, any one of the CMC has a good shot at her.
I personally am a supporter of Bloom and Diamond Tiara, myself. I like Babsy with Swubbs, for whatever reason.
I think that Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle would make a cute couple. They come from completely different lifestyles and yet they are as close if not closer than any of the Mane 6.
At first I felt that Maud and Trixie was a crack ship but Fou Dubulbe’s ongoing strip sold me on it completely. Drama, comedy, romance – it’s got it all.
Oh, and guest appearances by Pinkie Pie.
Trixie is certainly not a good match for Maud but I don’t think Apple Bloom is either. My heart is with Apple Bloom, however.
