From a standpoint of narrative convenience, maybe she left a few bits and pieces of one world or another intact enough for her to use as petri dishes.

That future wouldn’t exist, because Midnight would have ripped the Equestrian universe down to the Space-Time membrane. There wouldn’t be any future left to time travel to.

There was a lock. Spike only had to melt his way in because he can’t pick locks. That skill probably comes easy when you have magic telekinesis
Though in that case Rarity couldn’t have gotten Inspiration Manifestation because its housing needed to be destroyed by Spike to be retrieved & Spike wouldn’t have been born or at least in the right situation to get it.
At least it would be physically possible for Trixie to get the amulet.

Now I’m imagining Tirek standing in the middle of a completely obliterated wasteland, looking increasingly sheepish as he realises there’s nothing left for him to conquer.

Why would she? The only time she became a villain was when she used that alicorn amulet, but she only seeked that one out because she thought twilight embarrassed her, meaning, without twilight no evil Trixie.
