Yeah, I only just found out earlier today that Square Enix only published the game.
I’m pretty sure that line was meant to sound stupid. Likely a playful jab from DONTNOD to Square Enix.
@Princess♠Molestia
Pretty much.
@Jarkes
I dunno, some of the stupid lines add some charm to the game.
Nice!

Fixed it for you
Great formatting fail there. I know there is way to do the quote without directing it at someone. Whatever, you get the point!

If you are willing to overlook that most of the plot goes unexplained in favor of muh feelings, that the ending pretty much can make your decisions pointless (or , alternatively , be the most generic ending to a time travel thing ever), that all characters excepting the teacher (“all the signs were there guys! we didn’t pull his villainy out of nowhere!”) get redeemed and removed of all guilt, the fact that everyone fits into a perfect stereotype, and the fact that, overall , the story was made in the most color-by-numbers fashion possible, I guess it’s okay.
@Princess♠Molestia
Do you simply ignore the Kate arc? You know, that big part of the story (it’s one of the main “arcs” of the game) where everything’s about bullying and slut-shaming and whatever? Or how a sign of villainy (shown almost at the end) is Warren simply getting over Max? Or that the words Mr. Jefferson repeats the most are “bitch” and “cunt”?
NO EMOJI
:-)
Its just kind of a thing now. Look for a thing to hate and label it as “SJW/Misogynistic”
Its really best to ignore it and just play the game.
I don’t know why so many games get that ‘its a sjw’ game if it gets a following. The game is a puzzle adventure game with time travel mechanics. Some of the dialogue is crying at the beginning, but after the high school drama of the first episode, (Which sets up most of the prominent characters, their motivations, and personalities) the rest of the game is a roller coaster ride.
I still don’t get why they have that random as hell “Final Fantasy The Spirits Within is the best sci-fi film of all time” line. It’s just… why would Square Enix even acknowledge that film considering that it bankrupted their movie production company Square Pictures?
yes, it is pretty awesome. I recommend playing it
apparently its SJW:the game. (I don’t know if its true oor not, havnt played it)
Also, I think part of the games charm IS the ceesy as hell dialog.
