lol trust me, I’m not a 3d artist and I can’t render for shite, and Sexy Beach Premium Resort and the Studio are easy to use, the studio takes a bit of figuring out, but once you get the hang of it, it really feels great. It’s a H game, but I like it more for the creative aspect… and other things too I guess embarrassed . Anyway, creating a character is as simple as pulling sliders and clicking things, it’s very basic and limited but what you can do is rather great, plus there’s a modding community for it and they do a brilliant job in adding content the Japanese developers don’t.

Like I said in a previous comment, everyone has different preferences, and everyone has different levels of how much uncanny they can take and where the line in the valley actually is. And like I said, for me it’s Principle Celestia and Luna in EG. Perhaps this isn’t the best photo to show off SBPR and certainly not the best to show off these particular characters I made, and at the same time, I’m limited in the expressions I can give the characters because the Studio is very limited in that regard, which is one of my many criticisms of the game. Also a little thing I noticed, when I’m on my laptop, the picture’s colours actually hurt my eyes, yet when I’m on my desktop, the colours are fine. That might be a suggestion, but it’s something I discovered, it made me check my display settings at least haha.
 
But yeah, by all means you’re allowed to have your preference, but I must say I disagree with you.

Don’t get me wrong, I do like this a lot - I was just curious how much more realistic it could be if fleshtones were used instead. :)
 
Me, install 3D rendering software and…Hahahaha, I’m hopeless at art, but thanks for suggesting it anyways. :P I can’t even draw a decent stickman, let alone use 3D rendering software. :P

I’ve done that with the Artificial Academy characters I’ve made. I wanted to take advantage of the colour features of Sexy Beach Premium Resort. If it’s not your thing, then I suppose you’ll have to wait until I’ve released the characters in a zip file, download and install SBPR and you can change them for your self haha.
 
Either way, I prefer the pony colours, I must admit it isn’t the best picture I’ve made, but I made this in like 10 minutes while multitasking lol

I will agree to a point, it would be nice to see how this picture would’ve turned out if the artist had rendered the girls to more human, rather than fit the EqG style (which they did quite well) - tweak the ears back to normal shape and give ’em realistic skin tones (not necessarily all identical, but probably all variations on Caucasian)

You might not think this is Uncanny Valley, but just trust me on this.

Well the idea is, Earth Pony humanised ears are like ours, Unicorn ears are Elvish and then Pegasus ears are a slight variation of elvish.

Everyone has different preferences for the uncanny valley. Me personally, this is not the uncanny valley for me. Celestia and Luna in Equestria Girls looks weird for me.

Little bit uncanny (particularly for me the inexplicably-elfin ears), but overall pretty cute - I really like their outfits and their hair! <3
