I think it was because AJ’s name is first alphabetically and Cadence and Shining didn’t want the group to take too long.

I think maybe one of the writer’s found the Motherly Scootalo tumblr page and noticed this is whatt Lightning Blitz went through. They probably thought it was cuter.

Yeah, the bead eyes seemed kinda forced. Though it makes you wonder why they didn’t use them on the Cake twins during this episode.

This is only a guess but for the date I think it is the third of May based on character length. Going off of the “t” character looking like a cursive “l”

Maybe to show that AJ is a member of the Apple clan? There have been some hints that the Apple clan is very extensive and rather well known. At least in circles that would care about farming and such.
