Why does this have a Season 5 spoiler tag? <_<
Some people hate confidence, even in a character who shares similar confidence for tons of people around her.
Noone behaves exactly the same way 24/7, there is no OOC.

Right? It’s a very small thing to get worked up over.
Sweetie Belle’s parents didn’t show up, either (unless they were in the background in nonspeaking roles and I missed them).
I know that showing Scootaloo’s parents would be a big deal after the writers have avoided it for so long, but, if they have the courage to establish that the Apple parents have passed on, the least they could do is establish that Scootaloo’s related to somepony.
Meh. She’s been my favorite since season 1. Never understood the whole hatred towards her confidence.
Oh sure, it isn’t like she was annoying enough with her ego in season one. They have finally toned it down, thankfully, in the later seasons. She was still absolutely horrible in Mysterious Mare Do Well. At least she is a SLIGHT bit more modest now.
Why not just asume that RD (in-comic) just made a joke?

She does like to brag about her accomplishments, but no where near to the degree this fandom thinks
Are you kidding? Rainbow Dash toots her own horn more than the brass section of a marching band.
But in all seriousness, i’m pretty sure that Rainbow Dash wouldn’t be that much of an egotist to be critical of Scootaloo finding her talent.
