Oddly enough, out of all of this. There was one person who wasn’t even noticed.
 
A rather tall mare in a black hoodie and jeans. Her hood hiding her face. She was just silently mumbling. Just by looking at her you’d think she’d be the one who would kill everyone. When in reality she was just listening to music, silently singing the lyrics and wasn’t paying attention to anybody.

Alex puts a hand on his shoulder. “Are you ok sir?”

The Griffon frowned and stared at the island. “I was there with three friends one time. We arrived at the island on vacation. By chance…” He paused. “We were there one night when a horrible storm blew by. Our supplies were drained, our boat totaled. We called for help, sure that we would receive it. But they never came.”
 
He turned back to face Dash and Alex. “Days went by. I started… seeing things. I thought I was going crazy at first… but when I heard the screams of the others, it was too late!”
 
He snarled, panting heavily. Quickly calming himself down, he said, “By the time help arrived, I was the only one left. I was all that there was.” His body trembled as he said this.

Alex was stunned for a few moments, but then he finally managed to ask the Griffon a question he needed to know. “What happened?”

The griffon nodded slowly. “More than you would think. I was there.”

Alex’s curiosity was piqued. “What do you mean? Do you know something of the murders?”

Needless to say, Rainbow Dash was a little surprised by the changeling’s sudden arrival.
 
“Wow, really? Seven people were murdered here? That’s weird.”
 
“‘Weird’ is one way of putting it,” a voice said from behind Dash.
 
“Gah!” Dash jumped a little in surprise to see a strange-looking griffon male standing behind her. He appeared to have a blue-gray coat of feathers with a lighter gray mane. His eyes were noticeably red, making him look strange. He was wearing a black jacket and pants with a white button-down shirt, not tucked in.

“murder, or did you think the name came from dancing sugarplum fairies?”

“What happened seven times?”

a new voice pipes up.
 
“because seven times that’s what happened there.”
 
it belonged to a tall, skinny man in the back, insectoid wings on his back and the unique eyes marking him to be one of thorax’ changelings.

“Nice to meet you, Alex! And, heh, tell your sis I said hello and that I’m glad she’s a fan.” Rainbow Dash lifted her sunglasses, revealing her magenta-eyes.
 
“Honestly, I’ve heard only good things about this island. Good temperature, great waves for surfing, open air… so why’s it called Murder Island?” She shrugged.

He shakes back. “It’s hard not to know who you are Ms. Dash! My sister is actually a big fan of yours, and she’s going to flip when she hears that I met you. By the way, my name is Alexander, but you can just call me Alex.”

The pegasus turned to face the unicorn, then nodded. “Yeah. There’s gotta be a catch of some sort. I assumed there was, but I really needed a break… We’ll just have to find out.”
 
She extended a hand to shake the unicorn’s. “Name’s Rainbow Dash. You’ve… probably heard of me.” She smirked.

“And to think we didn’t have to pay a bit to get here.” A voice says behind her.
 
Turning around, the Pegasus sees a unicorn who despite the odds was shorter than her. He wore a short sleeve white tropical shirt, khaki colored shorts, and a pair of white shoes. His fur was light grey, his eyes were purple, and his short Mane was brown.
 
“Heh, I actually thought the invitation was a fake but I’m glad I was proven wrong, but I think we’re all a part of some kind of hidden camera show. That’s the only explanation I have, I can’t really think of any other reason why someone we’ve never met would go through all this trouble to invite us to this island.”

Welcome to Murder Island!
 
 
The island slowly came into view as the boat pushed through the oceans. At first glance, the island was basically a tropical paradise. Lovely beaches, palm trees, hotsprings, a nice mansion-like house shortly down a road… and best of all, secluded from the rest of the world. Nobody bothered to go to this island.
 
Mostly became of the very forboding name and the island’s history.
 
A pegasus pony looked off the side of the boat at the island as they drew closer to it. She looked to be about twenty years old. Her fur was bright blue with a striking rainbow-colored mane and tail being her most noticeable feature. She wore a white tank top, a pair of cutoff denim shorts, and some sandals on her hooves. A pair of sunglasses sat atop her muzzle. She would have been considered athletic, though not particularly tall, and had nice legs and a reasonably sized bust.
 
“So this is Murder Island,” she said. “What a sight.”
