Season 8 Episode Discussion [Spoilers, possible leaks, rumours etc.]

Tell me. For what episode you looking actually forward?

I have already seen it, but after second view i can really give it an honest 8/10  
It was the funniest episode thus far but still depends too much on mane6 acting stupid and there were bunch of awful human poses like Jay Fostgitt suddenly became a storyboard artist. Can’t really place it above Grannies so they are getting the same rating.
 
School Daze 6/10

Fake it till you Make It 3/10  
Grannies Gone Wild 7/10  
Surf % Turf 6/10  
Horse Play 7/10

Do they mention the fact that Celestia has to act like she actually cares about what politician ponies say and she maanges that really well?

I focused on that paragraph because it was by far the most outlandish and unreasonable.
 
I don’t want to get in a discussion on this so I’ll just move on.
 
What’s the deal with the conflicting morals of the Episodes lately? In Grannies night out the moral was to ignore Applejack, not it’s to listen to her.

If the majority of this is just going to be another pointless Starlight discussion, then you’re better off not discussing the episode at all.

Next episode should be the Starlight x Sunburst episode. Get your butts ready for the dankest of lore regarding those two characters.

Episode was fine then and still is.

I can accept her being a bad actor, but the scenes at acting school were garbage.

No keep talking. People will literally run out of this to say. She did absolutely nothing in the episode other than say a couple of inconsequential lines. She might as well have been in the audience during the play.

I’m seeing it as the same ordeal the Warhammer 40k universe has with the Astronomican: if you don’t sacrifice unicorns/psykers to it, everyone’s indirectly fucked because civilization came to rely on the sun/Warp navigation.
 
It wasn’t an issue before since the world was already used to it’s absence, it’s when they came to rely on it that it became essential to maintain. Kinda like a fire that has to keep burning or else everyone freezes: it wasn’t there before because there either weren’t people and/or cold around to require it.

Maud Couple: 7/10 (I found her boyfriend annyoing)  
Fake it till you make it: 9,5/10 (Shy imitations wins everything in this episode)  
Grannies gone wild: 10/10 (Yeeehaaaw! Las Pegasus and Rainbow Dash! Just as I thought!)  
Surf and/or turf: 8,5/10 (It’s great to see movie plot)  
Horse Play: 9,5/10 (It was good to see Celestia and mane 6 in ,,slice of life” action)

And lines I might add she stole from Rarity. Way to take from drama horse

I never really noticed it as much as this before since she rarely ever moved, but Celestia is a big girl.
 

So anyone else notice the line change with Spike’s snark to Starswirl in this episode?

Could S8 be the best season yet?
