When you say that you signed on when the site went down was it when it went Read Only or when it stopped working?

I recall doing it right when it went read only, since someone (I think it was the site owner or one of the other members, don’t entirely remember) put a link to derpibooru and said that activity was moving there.
 
So I went on, made an account with my old name, and quickly found that pretty much everyone else had starting migrating as well.

Your comments date back far enough and you comment pretty frequently. Ask around politely and don’t pester about it, and you’ll probably get it.

I’m not trying to pester, it just seems very weird that I didn’t get one. I just sent a message to Smiling Pony asking about it.
 
EDIT: I just got a response from Smiling Pony, Smiling confirmed that I should have gotten that badge after all and for some reason I didn’t. Smiling said he/she would have Clover look into it and give me the badge.

Ok, here’s a trick: whenever you see a time reference on Derpibooru (and on other many places, like blogs and forums, really), just hover the mouse cursor on it, and the exact time will appear on a tooltip.
 
Your first post on Derpibooru was on June 23rd 2012.

A trick I forgot all about apparently.
 
And anyone with ‘The End’ badge who made their first comment after July 1st 2012 may have upvoted/downvoted/uploaded at least one image before that day, since it counts as minor activity.

No. That would be June 17th*. July 1st is exactly 2 weeks after. Any activity between those two dates means you’re eligible for the badge.

Any account created between June 16 and June 30 with at least one vote/comment/upload.
 
Something went wrong with that query and several people that qualify for it didn’t have it awarded as they should have. It’s being looked into.
 
CodeLuxor meant that someone could have made their first comment many months after registering, but would still be eligible.
