RIG:

On the TV show “House, MD”, the characters will often go through a list of possible diagnoses for the patient of the week. Lupus is one that regularly gets ruled out from the start. Started as a meme, then used on the show itself as House himself realized it’s never lupus.

V - In Dr.House the medics always say that it might be Lupus, to which House responds “It’s never Lupus.”
Also, in one episode he hid pills inside a book on Lupus, Foreman (I think) said:
“You stash your drugs on a Lupus textbook.”
“It’s never Lupus.”
