Also, the phone they’re taking the selfie with is enchanted. Y’know, so earth ponies can use ‘em too. And I’m not just saying that because I just now realized I forgot to draw the magic glow around Dear Darling’s horn… No. Not at all.
And, for those questioning the tags, I totally subscribe to Whisperfoot’s idea of them all actually being stallions.

You’re right, the only thing that really says they’re traps is the tags, nothing in the image does, so if it weren’t for the tags there’d be no way to tell

Not bias, just an assumption, like your assumption that is part of their standard style.
And not everything involving a trap has to be fetish fuel, for some its a way of life. Again, if you don’t like the headcanon, hide a tag so you don’t have to see it.
Or you’re just seeing your own confirmation bias for your fetish. They arent drawn with “hints of their masculine sex” its called the artist’s style. They like to draw ponies including mares with more boxy muzzles, nothing more.

Or you could just, y’know, ignore head canons and stuff and stick to actual canon and not complain about it.
Better yet, you can pay an artist to do those things you listed. It’s better than ranting over something and taking it too seriously.
