KK.
The rockets themselves need to spin a certain number of times before arming. Hence why there are all those videos of the rocket just falling out of the launcher, and don’t explode. Grenade launchers work the same way.
I’m pretty sure RPG7 warheads are contact detonators without any kind of fancy arming delays.
This is hilarious!
“You can’t fire that from so close up! You’d kill us both!”
“Seems like you’ve mistaken me for somepony who gives a fuck. Unfortunately, that’s not me.”
I’ve never used one. All I had was an M4 carbine when I was in the army. Sometimes I would use an M16 though. Pretty much the same gun, just with a longer barrel and full stock.
I’ve heard conflicting tales of their arming. Given that I’ve seen vids of them exploding from either misshandling or being shot into a wall by a derping operator, and my militia instructor described them as “not OSHA approved”, I think they just have a simple contact detonator and that’s it.
