They’re horses. What else did you expect?
There is no such thing as bad publicity, the memes will only boost the sales.
I never had an Oreo until my family moved to the u.s. in 2006. (Not living there anymore.)
To quote Ron White, you can’t fix stupid.
At least, there are some technological advances we can be proud of. Like this.
(I’m NOT being ironic, I want that food!)
Edited
Maybe one day, humans will achieve their technological dreams. But no matter how many advancements we make, their will always be stupidity.
No kidding, heck, back then people thought we’d be living in oxygen domes on the moon now, rather then just taking “selfies” with our phones.
This.
Fifty years ago, we put a man on the moon. If you had asked people back then what they thought the 21st Century was going to be like, I don’t think “we’ll have to tell people not to eat laundry detergent” would have been a common response.
Maybe a few saw it coming. Ever read “The Marching Morons” by Cyril Kornbluth? His view of the future wasn’t a popular one, though.
…..theatre style slow clapping that slowly evolves into the whole theatre clapping and cheering
Luna: Hark! Twilight! We bid thee be still. Let us not pass our judgment with such haste, lest we forfeit such an opportunity to witness whereto shall such a feat of base disregard of self worth lead. Let us make use of thy view caption apparatus for we desire record to upflow into this all seeing spider’s webbing of knowledge. What say it of ponykind were we to deny ourselves of that which shall surely cause a great horde of ‘meme’ to take up at arms against our dearest sister image of flawlessness before ponydom.
Twilight: uhh.. wat? uhhh!! Princess Luna!! Hadn’t you agreed to lay off thy archaic tongue, I mean your weird oldies talk.
Meanwhile as Princess Celestia lay sprawled out on the floor floating at the mouth:
PC: I should have thought this though some more. Any snacks prepared by Luna often tend to poison me and if I weren’t an alicorn… was that hand real or was I already tripping. uhhh bad trip mare! Bad trip! Oh hey is that a lave lamp!! I remember those! soooo misleading. how could i have known that it wasn’t filled with lava.. and ican’t even blame that one of luna.. Oh.. lokk i mnot captiviateing my worldss twiilit wood bee soap bad admi… daaawm princest tuna.. haha *snort* ‘princest’ hahha pinecest two treeaight starco.. ic da lit!!!
Nurse Red Heart: Well, she’s still responsive… and an alicorn. So, let get the stomach pump… again. Whatever I DO get paid enough for these frequent ‘alicorn dropping’.
I don’t think the company itself created the memes, but they probably did cash in a li’l on the notoriety of the meme, and the so-called “Tide challenge.” (Which might’ve been made originally to mock these dangerous “internet challenges.”)
It’s kinda sad they actually have to tell people not to eat them now.

@Beau Skunky
Viral marketing campaign
They did have to put warnings, and make a PSA, because people were stupid enough to try eating it, due to the memes, and such.
Capitalism. Games workshop changed the material their models are made out of, making them only cost half as much as before to make. Then, they double the original price.
Tide is probably making plenty of money off people’s stupidity from buying these things because they are memes.
