As someone who worked as a teacher for some time, there is no law against arguing with parents. While it is preferred to work with the parents on solving problems, as a teacher one is ultimately responsible for the well-being of one’s students. I have seen a few teachers (mostly the good ones) getting into heated arguments with parents, who don’t support or treat their child well.
