at least that was my impression.
But, they were of equal power, so they were stuck in a stalemate.
Yeah that’s what I meant. Also she did tell them to make sure ‘everyone stays indoors’.
I’m pretty sure we did see Spike at the end of the episode anyway. But she could have easily THOUGHT he was still in there.
Unless even just one split second was enough time for her to realize he wasn’t anywhere in that tree.
Which considering who we’re talking about, isn’t TOO much of a stretch. :P
I haven’t seen any of the leaks.
But are you saying that they’ve confirmed that Twilight knew for sure Spike wasn’t in there?
Going by what’s known in the S4 finale, she couldnt have been 100% sure of Spike’s location at the time, because she had been away for awhile, busy training with her new powers.
