Pretty much every language except English would use metric, given that about 78% of non-metric users are American, and Americans are about 70% of the English-speaking population. (Demographics of Imperial and English: There are 4 countries that use older measurements with a combined population of ~452 million, the USA has ~327 million. The top 6 English-speaking countries I know of have a combined population of ~461 million)

We really shouldn’t still use that 8-foot candy cane as base for sizes, because it is just incorrect.
 
Fun fact: in Polish dub Twilight said 2-meter candy cane. 2 meters is about 6 feet and 6.74 inches.

I could only find >>366604 and >>261542, in which Fluttershy is either sitting or too far away. Strange how TCMC and GUIHTD are the only episodes that feature both teenagers and school-age foals (Technically WTAL but the only non-teenage school-age foal is Apple Bloom, who doesn’t appear in the flashback, and the only teenagers in the episode only appear in the flashback)
 
I also checked both Three’s a Crowd and The Saddle Row Review, which both feature the teenager model, and neither one uses the CMC model at all. Meaning that, possibly Snails notwithstanding, the final scene in GUIHTD and one instance of Fluttershy sitting are the only times we ever see CMC-age foals and long-legged teenagers in the same scene.

heights do tend to vary somewhat between shots or episodes; maybe you could try teenager model Fluttershy alongside Rainbow Dash in their flight camp flashbacks?

I did it myself, and calculated Spur (as the only teenager to appear alongside the CMC) to be as tall as Rarity somehow. That opens a can of wyrms indeed…

Probably one of the most accurate Luna’s. I’ve suspected her being at tallest, 5ft and Celestia at 6ft.
