Huh, I’m pure asian too, but my life has been full of english, even when I was in HK for 9 years. Then I moved to England, and back to Australia. However, I orally understand Cantonese, not so much Mandarin.
I am. I just haven’t been in Taiwan since I was barely able to walk.
My entire life has been a North American one. Never learned how to read or write any language but English. But I am a pure Asian by blood. I can only understand basic communication level of Mandarin orally.

well, there will no more Compulsory military service in Taiwan next year, and will change to mercenary in 2017.

Anyway, there are a bunch of people want to extend recent graduates recruited hide, because this is the last conscripted service obligation, beginning of next year are the most alternative service

Until recently. All Taiwanese male had to undergo conscription once they leave school. I never had to go myself due to me being a overseas citizen.
