Of course not. But it is a conspicuous trait of Japanese media as it is inline with its modern kawaiisa aesthetic.

Actually, making references to characters in a logo is a very Japanese thing. As a random example, consider the Doraemon logo.

Too lazy to take out an eyedrop tool, but the saturation appears different between them. However, it using part of Twilight’s color scheme makes sense seeing how she is the central character.
