Just a stupid thought I had while browsing the Digimon wiki for a fanfic I’m writing.

Yah learn your Digimon.
Mega-Level digimon are powerful enough that they’re essentially considered the gods of the Digital World. A ‘‘single’’ mega is capable of taking out multiple Ultimate digimon and hundreds of Champion or Rookie digimon.
So being able to tank a hit from a mega digimon without so much as a scratch? That’s quite a feat.
I tried to do that, but I couldn’t get it to work…
I do have some SNES, GBA, and N64 emulator files on my laptop (one of the SNES games being Earthbound, since I don’t have a Wii U and likely won’t have one for a while)… Though I have yet to actually use the N64 one, since even though I’m pretty sure I can hook my PS3 controller up to my laptop, I don’t actually know if I can map the N64’s C-buttons properly to that controller, or even how to make it so I can use the controller with the emulators (with the SNES and GBA ones, it’s fairly easy to just use the keyboard, if a little strange)…
I just hacked my Wii.
Thank the Goddess for emulators!
Oh. That would explain it.
…Man, it’s too bad I can’t really play that anymore… I played the Gamecube version (though I never owned it; I just rented it from Blockbuster several times. Good times…), but I’ll bet it’s impossible to find nowadays. And the PS2 version isn’t available on the Playstation Network (and with the track record the PS2 had during its generation, it was probably a porting disaster)…
The criteria to unlock the dark version IS just to kind of stumble across them while playing the arcade mode.
That’s what I thought.
…Remember Digimon Rumble Arena? Or rather, Rumble Arena 2 (I never played the first one)? That one was pretty fun, though it was SEVERELY biased towards the Adventure Digimon. Seriously, all eight of the Adventure Digimon appeared in that game, yet from what I recall, the only 02-Frontier Digimon that appeared were the mains (Veemon, Guilmon, and “Flamemon,” a.k.a. that thing that Takuya turned into in that one episode after they got their asses kicked by Duskmon). There were a few others, mostly the different final bosses (and Neemon, whose attacks were basically toilet humor), and dark versions of Agumon, Gabumon, and Guilmon (whom I could never actually figure out the specific criteria to unlock them; I just kind of stumbled across them while playing the arcade mode).
But enough about the character list. I remember that being a very fun game, despite being an obvious attempt to cash in on Smash Bros. Though maybe it was because the gameplay was so different from Smash.
…Actually, it’s been so long since I played that that I don’t remember a lot of details at all. The thing I most remember was a level called “Danger Gulch,” and whenever my brother and I played that stage, we would sing (very off-key), “Gonna take you right into the DANGER GULCH!”
There hasn’t been a Digimon game released in the West since Digimon World Data Squad. Hopefully that will change now that we finally have another dub.
Let me guess, No Export for You?
And I think there was SOMETHING that existed before that which also confirmed what the canon Mega level Digivolutions were…
Biyomon’s mega form is Hououmon/Pheonixmon.
The Digimon Adventure PSP game also gave the other digimon official Mega level digivolutions
And speaking of, did all the Adventure and Adventure 02 main Digimon have “official” Mega forms assigned to them via supplmental materials or something? I know some of those audio dramas (we seriously need a fandub of that… or heck, just a fan-translated transcript) allowed the 02 Digidestineds to use each other’s DigiEggs, creating some unusual forms…
SO WANKER HARDER I DARE YOU
I have a few ideas where, but I’d like to hear yours first…
Well, despite being a bearer of Kindness, Fluttershy does seem prone to snapping when faced with compounded frustrations and/or supernatural influences…
Now where have I heard that before?
Given what it’d take to make Fluttershy that angry, I doubt most deities would have anything but contempt for whoever forced her hand in such a manner.
Well then he is stronger than Gallantmon… wander how the fight would had turn out with Gallantmon Crimson Mode.
Actually, in the X-Evolution movie Omnimon (Omegamon) kicked Gallantmon’s (Dukemon) ass pretty easily.
And the Seven Great Demon Lords, the Olympos XII, or GranDracmon.
Also Omnimon is just a member of Royal Knights and he is not even the strongest. (They all probably have the same level of strength. But don’t quote me on that.)
There is no such thing as “Mega III.” Both ZeedMilleniummon and Imperialdramon Paladin mode are just classified “Mega” in all materials.
Also, I doubt that Discord could even compare to ZeedMilleniummon, since Discord has never been shown to affect anything more than a single world, while Millie can play the entire multiverse like putty in his hands.
What about the 4 God Digimon or the the 3 Celestial Archangels Digimon? And what about Omnimon?
Question mark because I only watched the first series of Digimon and that was 12 years ago.
