I feel as if they originally picked “Muffins” as the replacement name thinking it would please fans (“She’s obsessed with muffins, so she’s called muffins!”). Didn’t work but I think that was the intention.

I understand, I don’t consider it the “best” show either, (truthfully I feel that way about FIM too, I’m more of a casual brony) but it has it’s moments.

I don’t really have plans to do more PL stuff right now but never say never.

Reading back that description I feel like after seeing some more of the episodes my opinion has turned more towards indifference than outright dislike. It’s an ok show to watch if you set the bar fairly low when it comes to expectations (and absolutely don’t try to compare it to G4) and it even has some funny moments from time to time. I don’t really have plans for more Pony Life stuff right now but I’m not ruling the possibility out entirely.

Could you do some Equestria Girls characters, like Midnight Sparkle and the Dazzlings, converted into Pony Life?

I’m still going by the theory that Fluttershy got her name wrong and shut the door before Derpy could correct her.

i have to say, I like the new uniform they gave her for PL. It’s cute.

Nice to see even a PL hater can still appreciate the PL Derpster.
 
And actually, she’s been nicknamed Muffins officially for several years now. (Should’ve been “Bubbles,” or “Ditzy” IMO, if they aren’t allowed to use Derpy, due to Derpygate.)
